I know this sounds like a set up to a bad joke and it kind of is. I don’t feel bad for the outcome because the roof fixer had what was coming to his cell phone. My brother in Texas is having some roof work done. And appararently he got to witness something that could have easily been avoided.

His roofer was according to my brother up on his roof nailing down some shingles. When while he was in the middle of working his cell phone rang. Who it was we don’t know because as he went to check it, he bumbled it in his fingers and it fell and began to slid towards the edge. Trying to quickly grab the phone, the roofer mistakenly plants his shin into a nail that was exposed on the roof.

The cell phone falls off of the roof and lands dead smack into a bucket of tar on the ground. Now the roofer needs to go where they have cell phones for sale so he can manage to get back on track. Don’t really know what the moral of the story is, but it was kind of freaky and stories like that are not uncommon. Sucks to be that guy.
